Diketahui dalam kecelakaan Bus Sriwijaya itu 35 orang telah dinyatakan meninggal dunia dan 13 orang selamat, dari 35 orang meninggal tersebut ada 4 orang diantaranya warga Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah (Benteng) yakni Dwi Sunarto, Kristina Yamiati warga Bukit Kecamatan Talang Empat dan Fadil Raharja dan Hesti Nurmawanti warga Desa Margo Mulyo Kecamatan Pondok Kubang Benteng.
Setelah beberapa hari lalu Bupati Benteng, Ferry Ramli beserta FKPD Benteng telah menyambangi rumah duka, kali ini Kapolres Benteng, AKBP Andjas Adipermana beserta Ketua Bhayangkari, Wakapolres, dan pejabat utama (PJU) Polres Benteng melakukan kunjungan ke kediaman korban, Sabtu (28/12) siang.
Dalam kunjungannya kapolres menyampaikan turut berbela sungkawa atas kejadian yang menimpa korban, dan semoga keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberikan ketabahan.
“Saya mewakili seluruh personil Polres Benteng mengucapkan turut berduka cita atas meninggalnya Fadil Raharja dan Hesti Nurmawanti yang menjadi korban kecelakaan Bus Sriwijaya,” kata Kapolres
Dalam kunjungan tersebut Kapolres juga memberikan santunan yang diterima langsung oleh keluarga korban. (ypb)
