RDNews.id – Ratusan warga Lanjut Usia (Lansia) di Kecamatan Pino Raya Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan (BS) akan menerima bantuan usaha ternak itik.
Camat Pino Raya, Hendri Farizal menyampaikan, setiap Lansia di seluruh desa di Kecamatan Pino Raya akan didata dan dibentuk kelompok lansia.
“Saat ini yang sudah terbentuk di Desa Padang Beriang, secepatnya desa-desa lain se Pino Raya akan menyusul,” tegas Hendri.
Ditargetkan, pada tahun 2020 ini semua desa akan membentuk kelompok Lansia dan segera merealisasikan program ternak itik untuk kaum Lansia. “Program ini akan dianggarkan melalui APBDes masing-masing desa,” jelas Hendri.
Diharapkan, melalui program ini dapat meningkatkan penghasilan kaum Lansia dari hasil produksi telur itik.
“Lansia juga harus kita perhatikan. Mereka juga butuh pendapatan untuk biaya hidup sehari-hari. Tidak semua anak cucu mereka bertaraf ekonomi lebih, sehingga Lansia juga butuh penghasilan. Harapan kita program ternak itik ini menjadi solusi,” harap Camat.
Selain mendapatkan penghasilan dari hasil produksi telur itik, di lokasi peternakan itik tersebut juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk bertanam sayur-sayuran.
“Minimal sayuran yang ditanam bisa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi mereka. Syukur-syukur kalau hasil bertanam sayuran tersebut bisa untuk dijual,” beber Camat.
Terkait dengan program ini, Camat mengaku telah berkoordinasi dengan seluruh Kepala. Desa se Kecamatan Pino Raya.
