RDNews.id – Realisasi atas pembangunan Rel Kereta Api yang menghubungkan Lubuk Linggau, Sumatera Selatan/ Kota Padang Rejang Lebong – Pelabuhan Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu akan segera dilaksanakan di tahun 2020 oleh investor yang akan melakukan pembangunan.
Hal ini semakin diperkuat dengan ditandatanganinya Nota Kesepahaman Antara PT. Trans Rentang Nusantara dengan PT. Pasifik Global Investment tentang Investasi dan Pembangunan Infrastruktur Perkeretaapian Dari Kota Padang Rejang Lebong ke Pulau Baai Kota Bengkulu, di Ruang Rapat Lantai III Kantor Gubernur Bengkulu, Kamis (06/02).
Tindak lanjut dari ditandatanganinya MoU ini, Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah meminta kepada perusahaan atau pihak investor yang terlibat terhadap pembangunan rel kereta api yang menghubungkan Bengkulu – Sumatera Selatan ini, untuk segera melakukan tahapan selanjutnya hingga proses pembangunan, karena jelas rel kereta api ini sangat potensial dan dapat mendorong percepatan pengembangan perekonomian bagian barat Pulau Sumatera melalui pintu Pelabuhan Pulau Baai.
“Kajiannnya dengan mereka, kita pada posisi fasilitasi saja nanti kedua perusahaan ini yang akan langsung melakukan pembangunan bersama pihak terkait lainnya. Kita meminta pembangunan ini segera dikerjakan, sehingga cepat berdampak positif bagi pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat,” jelas Gubenur Rohidin.
Direktur Utama PT. Trans Rentang Nusantara Indrajaya Putra Januar mengatakan, bersama PT. Pasifik Global Investment, proyek pembangunan rel kereta api akan segera dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah dan yang telah disepakati dengan rekanan.
“Kami bersama PT. Pasifik Global Investment, setelah ditandatanganinya MoU ini akan segera melakukan proses kerjasama selanjutnya. Kami berharap support atau dukungan dari pemerintah, sehingga proses pembangunan bisa berjalan lancar hingga selesai,” ungkapnya.
Diketahui Rel Kereta Api yang akan difungsikan sebagai jasa angkutan barang dan komoditas antar provinsi ini sejalur dengan Jalan Tol Bengkulu – Lubuk Linggau, yang saat ini tengah dalam proses awal pembangunan.
Sementara itu, dalam kesempatan ini juga dilaksanakan penyerahan Dokumen Penawaran Pengelolaan Mess Pemda kepada PT. Pasifik Global Investment oleh Pemprov Bengkulu. Dimana sebelumya telah dilakukan pembicaraan dalam berbagai kesempatan, terkait rencana pengelolaan Mess Pemda tersebut. (ypb)
