RDNews.id – Dalam rangka Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke 71 Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan yang akan jatuh pada tanggal 8 Maret 2020 mendatang, Dinas Pariwisata akan menggelar kegiatan Lomba Rally Rakit dan Pameran Bonsai.
Kegiatan lomba rally rakit dan pameran bonsai ini akan dipusatkan di Pantai Pasar Bawah. Direncanakan, akan digelar pada tanggal 6-7 Maret 2020.
Pada tanggal 6 Maret 2020 dijadwalkan acara pembukaan, hiburan dan pameran bonsai/tanaman hias.
Sedangkan pada tanggal 7 Maret akan dilaksanakan lomba rally rakit, yang akan start dari Jembatan Air Manna di Desa Batu Kuning dan finish di Muara Pantai Pasar Bawah.
Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Bengkulu Selatan, Yulian Fauzi menargetkan minimal 144 peserta akan berpartisipasi pada rally rakit.
“Desa dan kelurahan diharapkan berpartisipasi dalam lomba rally rakit. Namun, kita tetap akan menerima peserta umum, peserta tidak dibatasi,” jelas Yulian Fauzi.
Meski peserta tidak dibatasi, namun menurut Yulian Fauzi, Dinas Pariwisata hanya menyiapkan anggaran subsidi untuk biaya pembuatan rakit senilai Rp 130 Ribu/ rakit, maksimal untuk 144 buah rakit.
“Untuk hadiah rally rakit berupa trophy dan uang tunai. Namun kami lagi mengupayakan penambahan hadiah lain,” beber Yulian.
Untuk menghindari terjadinya kecelakaan pada saat lomba rally rakit, Yulian Fauzi mengirim calon peserta yang bisa berenang. Selain itu, peserta diharapkan membawa pelampung pada saat kegiatan rally rakit.
Sementara untuk kegiatan Pameran Bonsai, sambung Yulian Fauzi, panitia menyiapkan doorprize untuk peserta.
