Hal ini disampaikan Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah melalui Kepala Biro Organisasi Sekretariat Derah Provinsi Bengkulu, Mukhlisin saat menghadiri deklarasi bersama terkait dengan sinergi dan komitmen dalam pemberantasan peredaran Narkoba, di halaman kantor BNNP Bengkulu pada Rabu, 19/2.
“Kami Pemerintah dan masyarakat Provinsi Bengkulu mendukung penuh aparat penegak hukum menindak tegas setiap pelaku kejahatan tindak pidana narkotika dan peredaran gelap narkotika,” tegas Mukhlisin.
Narkoba tambah Mukhlisin merupakan masalah kita bersama, dengan demikian kami mengajak jajaran di Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu, mari bersama-sama kita bekerja untuk mencegah dan memberantas penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap narkoba di Provinsi Bengkulu.
Pada acara deklarasi ini juga dilakukan pemusnahan barang bukti berupa narkotika jenis sabu dengan berat bersih 2.070, 75 gram dan narkotika jenis ganja dengan berat bersih 21.384, 25 gram oleh Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi (BNNP) Bengkulu.
Barang bukti tersebut milik tersangka Amar Tarigan bin Syarifudin Tarigan dan Maerasta Sandi Aprilia alias Sandi bin Asmawi Mangkualam yang merupakan napi lapas yang masih melakukan transaksi peredaran gelap Narkoba.
Kepala BNNP Bengkulu, Brigjen. Pol. Agus Riansyah memaparkan di awal tahun 2020 BNN Provinsi Bengkulu telah berhasil mengungkap dan menggagalkan peredaran narkoba jenis shabu mencapai 2,3 kg.
“Penangkapan tersangka narkoba ini bukan hasil dari BNNP Bengkulu sendiri, melainkan hasil kerjasama dan kordinasi pada stakeholder lainnya baik itu Polri-TNI maupun unsur pemerintahan dan organisasi masyarakat lainnya,” jelasnya. (Rls)
