Benteng, RDNews – Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah (Benteng) melalui Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) gelar Event Trully Rafflesia di Taman Hutan Raya Rajo Lelo (Tahura). Ini dalam rangka memperkenalkan objek wisata.
Event itu dibuka langsung Bupati Benteng, Ferry Ramli, Rabu (26/2). “Menggalakan pariwisata di Benteng, walaupun kabupaten bungsu, kita banyak tempat wisata yang bisa dikunjungi masyarakat”, ungkapnya
Tahura kata Bupati Ferry, sebelumnya milik Pemerintah Provinsi Bengkulu. Tapi sejak Februari 2018 lalu, Tahura yang memiliki luasan capai ratusan hektare ini, sudah diserahkan kepada Pemkab Benteng.
Pemkab Benteng jelasnya, akan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan Tahura, untuk menjadi salah satu objek wisata, tempat olahraga serta areal yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat luas. “Tahura ini sudah diserahkan dari Pemprov ke Pemkab Benteng pada Februari 2018 lalu. Sehingga, harus kita manfaatkan sebaik mungkin”.
Kepala Disparbud Benteng, Gunawan Wibisana mengatakan, kegiatan yang dikemas dalam Trully Rafflesia ini, akan dilaksanakan selama empat hari hingga 30 Februari 2020 mendatang.
Kegiatan yang mencanangkan konservasi puspa langka tersebut, akan di isi dengan berbagai perlombaan seperti lomba kicau burung, pameran tanaman hias dan bibit buah. Termasuk lomba tari kreasi, lomba mewarnai gambar Rafflesia dan lomba foto hunting.
