Bengkulu Selatan, RDNews – Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan (BS) melakukan Perjanjian Kerjasama (PKS) dengan PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk S3JB UP3 Bengkulu.
PKS antara Pemkab BS dengan PT PLN ini terkait dengan Pemungutan, penyetoran pajak penerangan jalan dan pembayaran rekening listrik tersebut di Tanda Tangani langsung oleh Bupati Bengkulu Selatan, Gusnan Mulyadi, Jumat (28/2) di Ruang rapat kerja bupati.
Gusnan menyampaikan bahwa ada kenaikan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari Pajak Penerangan.
“Dibanding dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, ada peningkatan penerimaan pajak penerangan jalan, yang biasanya di angka Rp 4 Miliaran meningkat menjadi Rp 6 Miliaran,” Jelas Gusnan
Adanya peningkatan penerimaan dari Pajak Penerangan Jalan ini, sambung Bupati, seiring dengan bertambah pemakaian (konsumsi) masyarakat dan bertambahnya jumlah pelanggan. Itu artinya, menurut Bupati, tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat juga bertambah.
Bukan hanyan konsumsi listrik saja, Bupati menyampaikan angka pengeluaran masyarakat BS juga mengalami peningkatan. Ini juga merupakan salah satu indikator terjadinya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Angka pengeluarab per kapita masyarakat kita ada peningkatan sebesar Rp 500 ribuan, dari angka pengeluaran perkapita sebesar Rp 9 jutaan naik menjadi Rp9,5 juta pertahun,” Bebernya
Seiring dengan adanya kenaikan PAD dari pajak penerangan jalan ini pula, Gusnan juga berkomitmen untuk terus mengupayakan perbaikan dan penataan beberapa titik lampu jalan umum yang mengalami kerusakan.
Sementara itu, Kabid Pendapatan Badan Pengelolaan Keungan dan Aset Daerah (BPKAD) BS, Edwin Permana mengimbau kepada masyarakat BS agar membayar listrik tepat waktu.
Dengan membayar listrik tepat waktu artinya telah berkontribusi membangun daerah melalui pajak penerangan jalan.
“Nanti akan ada imbauan tertulis kepada masyarakat, pemerintah daerah akan membuat surat imbauan hingga ke desa-desa agar membayar listrik tepat waktu dan tidak menunggak,” pungkasnya. (adv)
