Bengkulu, RDNews – Pengurus Wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Provinsi Bengkulu bersama Polda Bengkulu menggelar Sarasehan Kebangsaan dengan tema “Peran Kamtibmas dalam Menjaga NKRI”. Kegiatan itu diselenggarakan di aula Wahana Surya Bengkulu di Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, Rabu (4/3/2020).
Selain Kapolda Bengkulu Irjen Pol Supratman, hadir juga Rektor IAIN Bengkulu Prof Dr Sirajuddin M yang juga Mustasar PWNU Bengkulu sebagai narasumber, serta Ustaz M Amin Mude.
Diawali dengan sambutan Ketua PWNU Bengkulu Dr Zulkarnain Dali, kegiatan dihadiri oleh jajaran pengurus NU Bengkulu, NU Bengkulu Tengah, Banom-Banom NU, Irwasda Polda Bengkulu, Wakil Bupati Bengkulu Tengah, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat dan sejumlah perwakilan organisasi kemasyarakatan juga pimpinan media massa.
“Nahdlatul Ulama menjadi bagian penting dan salah satu penjaga tiang negara ini, artinya, NU memiliki tanggung jawab moral untuk menjaga kelangsungan NKRI, dengan kegiatan ini, NU menegaskan dirinya sebagai bagian bersama elemen lainnya untuk menciptakan situasi kamtibmas ditengah masyarakat,” kata Dr Zulkarnain Dali.
Sementara itu, Kapolda Bengkulu Irjen Pol Supratman menegaskan, dalam setiap pesta demokrasi, di Bengkulu menjadi bagian wilayah yang kondusif. Untuk itu, dia berharap hal itu dapat terus dijaga kedepannya.
Kapolda juga berharap masyarakat terutama elemen yang mampu memberikan edukasi agar bersama-sama memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang bahayanya hoaks atau kabar bohong.
“Kita harus belajar dari pengalaman sebelumnya, maka menghadapi demokrasi, masyarakat harus cerdas dalam menerima informasi,” kata Kapolda.
Kapolda juga menyampaikan pesan religi agar masyarakat senantiasa bersyukur atas nikmat kehidupan yang diberikan maha kuasa.
“Agenda demokrasi sebelumnya (Pileg dan Pilpres) telah kita lalui dengan sukses, dan itu berkat kerjasama Polri, TNI, penyelenggara pemilu dan segenap stake holder masyarakat, mudah-mudahan kedepan ini dapat terus kita jalin sinergi bersama,” harap Kapolda.
Dalam helatan pilkada serentak 2020 ini, Kapolda berharap masyarakat menciptakan situasi kamtibmas yang kondusif.
“Kita buang ego sektoral, hindari hoaks ciptakan kekompakan,” tegasnya.
Kegiatan yang diakhiri dengan makan siang tersebut, Ketua PWNU Bengkulu Dr Zulkarnain Dali menegaskan bahwa NU baik secara struktural dan kultural sedia selalu menjaga kerukunan dan perdamaian menciptakan pilkada serentak 2020 yang demokratis dan berbasis kearifan lokal.
“Marilah sama-sama kita ciptakan situasi politik yang kondusif menjelang pilkada serentak 2020 ini, NU dan semua stake holder masyarakat bersiap menyambut pilkada serentak, utamanya mari kita jaga kerukunan jauhi hoaks dan utamakan kepentingan masyarakat yang lebih luas, yakni kamtibmas,” sampainya.
