Jambi, RDNews – Pengurus Jaringan Media Siber Indonesia (JMSI) Provinsi Jambi resmi ditetapkan oleh Pengurus JMSI Pusat. Penetapan ini ditandai dengan terbitnya Surat Keputusan (SK) Pengurus JMSI Provinsi Jambi.
SK bernomor 06/KPTS/PLT/PP-JMSI/III/2020 tentang pengangkatan Pengurus JMSI Provinsi Jambi, tertanggal 9 Maret 2020.
Doddi Irawan yang ditunjuk sebagai Pelaksana Ketua JMSI Provinsi Jambi, menyampaikan rasa syukur dengan keluarnya SK tersebut.
Menurut Doddi, JMSI akan mendorong media siber di Jambi dikelola secara profesional. Salah satunya dengan melengkapi persyaratan media, sesuai regulasi Dewan Pers, secara administrasi maupun faktual.
“JMSI akan membantu media-media anggotanya terverifikasi faktual di Dewan Pers. JMSI Jambi juga siap bekerja sama dengan semua pihak, termasuk pemerintah, untuk kemajuan Provinsi Jambi,” ujarnya usai penyerahan SK kepada para pengurus JMSI Jambi, Jumat (13/3) sore.
Doddi mengungkapkan, JMSI Jambi juga akan membantu peningkatan kualitas pemberitaan dan SDM wartawan yang medianya tergabung dalam JMSI.
Ini dilakukan tidak lain agar informasi yang disampaikan benar-benar bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Jambi.
“JMSI tidak hanya fokus pada administrasi perusahaan media, tapi juga peduli dengan kualitas redaksi,” ujar Wakil Ketua Bidang Organisasi PWI Provinsi Jambi periode 2012-2017 itu.
Doddi memberi apresiasi yang sangat tinggi kepada pemilik media siber di beberapa kabupaten dan kota, yang sangat antusias bergabung dengan JMSI.
“Para pemilik media siber di Bungo, Tebo, Kerinci, Sungai Penuh dan Merangin sangat bersemangat,” jelas Pemimpin Redaksi Infojambi.com ini.
Penyerahan SK dilakukan di Sekretariat JMSI Provinsi Jambi, Jalan Husni Thamrin No 52, Simpang Makalam, Pasar Jambi.
Keseriusan kepengurusan JMSI Jambi terlihat dengan diserahkan juga SK kepada Penasehat JMSI Provinsi Jambi, Budi Setiawan.
