Gubernur Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah menyampaikan pemerintah mengambil langkah melanjutkan kebijakan belajar di rumah bagi para siswa SMA/SMK hingga perguruan tinggi. Hal ini, perlu dilakukan dalam upaya memutus rantai penyebaran Covid-19 di tengah masyarakat. Minggu (29/3).
“Saat ini kita ambil langkah menghentikan aktivitas di sekolah dan kampus tahap kedua, dan menganjurkan mereka tetap belajar dirumah selama dua minggu. (30 Maret – 14 April). Diharapkan langkah ini dapat menekan penyebaran virus corona di Bengkulu. Para siswa dan guru diharapkan disiplin mengikuti imbauan pemerintah ini,” terang Rohidin
Namun menurut Gubernur Rohidin, para guru hendaknya mengurangi tugas yang dibebankan pada siswa. Saat ini, hal terpenting terus tanamkan semangat dan motivasi bahwa kita bisa melawan virus corona kepada siswa.
“Terapkan edukasi akan pentingnya penerapan hidup sehat, bersih dan disiplin. Kurangi tugas-tugas selama belajar di rumah, dorong siswa/siswi untuk rileks menghadapi situasi ini itu jauh lebih bermanfaat,” jelas Gubernur Rohidin.
Hal ini juga ditegaskan Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu Hamka Sabri, dalam suasana menghadapi pandemi Covid-19, Pemerintah mengambil kebijakan kegiatan belajar mengajar kembali dianjurkan di rumah saja mulai besok (30 Maret) hingga 14 April ke depan.
“Surat edaran sudah kemarin, besok hingga dua minggu ke depan para siswa dan guru dianjurkan belajar dirumah,” jelas Hamka.
Lanjut Hamka, langkah belajar di rumah ini akan terus dikaji hingga pandemi Covid-19 benar-benar berakhir.
“Langkah lebih lanjut seusai ini, akan terus dikaji. Semoga kita dapat mengatasi pandemi Covid-19 ini, dengan keadaan sehat walafiat,” pungkas Hamka. [MC]
