RDNews, Bengkulu Tengah – Mengantisipasi penyebaran Virus Corona atau Covid-19, Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah (Benteng) menggelar rapat internal di ruang Rapat Sekda, Desa Ujung Karang, Kecamatan Karang Tinggi Bengkulu Tengah, Senin (30/03).
Rapat tersebut dipimpin langsung Bupati Benteng, Ferry Ramli serta dihadiri oleh Kepala Dinas Kesehatan dan OPD terkait, beserta pihak TNI/Polri.
“Ini adalah rapat terpadu untuk menindak lanjuti, pencegahan atau menditeksi penyebaran Virus Corona di wilayah Bengkulu Tengah” ujar Bupati.
Dengan dilaksanakannya rapat terpadu ini, kedepan pihak Pemkab Benteng akan melakukan pengawasan terhadap masyarakat untuk mengindari penyebaran virus di wilayah tersebut.
“Dari rapat tadi kami akan mendirikan posko dan menyiapkan tim medis beserta TNI/Polri untuk memantau keluar masuknya masyarakat baik dari dalam kabupaten, ke daerah lain atau dari luar ke Kabupaten Benteng,” imbuhnya.
Tak hanya pemantauan, ujar Bupati, pihaknya melalui OPD terkait dan TNI/POLRI akan melakukan penyemprotan dan pengecekan suhu badan bagi masyarakat Benteng yang baru pulang dari luar Kota atau warga luar yang masuk ke wilayah benteng.
“Hal ini dilakukan untuk memutus mata rantai terkait penyebaran virus Corona diwilayah kita. Memang untuk Bengkulu Tengah belum ada yang positif akan tetapi ada beberap warga kita yang baru pulang dari luar kota dan masuk daftar Orang Dalam Pengawasan (ODP). Tapi untuk ciri ciri terdampak virus alhamdulillah masih jauh,” tuturnya.
“Apa yang dilakukan Pemerintah bukan berarti melarang masyarakat kumpul, melainkan lebih kepada pemantauan untuk pencegahan,” tegas Bupati.
Disinggung terkait Karantina Wilayah, lanjut Bupati pihaknya tidak melakukan itu, karna hingga sejauh ini masyarakat Benteng masih dalam lingkup Negatif.
Sementara itu, Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Benteng, Edi Hermansyah mengatakan, untuk melakukan pencegahan tersebut pihaknya akan mengalihkan anggaran OPD untuk melakukan pencegahan Covid-19.
“Untuk pencegahan ini kita akan mengalihkan sedikit anggaran yang ada di OPD untuk kesiapan pelayanan terhadap penanganan virus corona, begitu juga dengan Dinas Kesehatan,” ungkapnya.
“Selain pengalihan dana kita juga menyiapkan dana tak terduga dengan besaran kurang lebih mencapai Rp 700 Jutaan,” pungkasnya. [ypb]
