Bupati Bengkulu Selatan, Gusnan Mulyadi, tak menampik hal itu. Menurutnya, menyiapkan tempat tinggal khusus bagi para tenaga medis yang menangani Covid-19. Merupakan salah satu upaya antisipasi pihaknga dalam penanganan Covid-19 jika nantinya masuk ke Bengkulu Selatan.
“Mulai dari ruang isolasi khusus bagi para pasien yakni di asrama Akademi Kebidanan. Sampai mess bagi para tenaga medisnya,” beber Bupati.
Lebih lanjut, sambung Gusnan, walaupun sudah menyiapkan sejumlah persiapan sejak dini. Dirinya berharap covid-19 tidak masuk ke Bengkulu Selatan.
“Caranya ? Ya, dengan mengikuti imbauan pemerintah. Anggap sekarang kita ini sedang terpapar (virus corona). Sehingga, kita jadi lebih peduli dengan kesehatan dan menjaga stamina. Serta menjaga agar istri, suami dan anak serta keluarga tidak ikut terpapar,” pungkasnya.
Dia juga mengimbau agar seluruh masyarakat Bengkulu Selatan tetap waspada dan antisipasi. Khususnya bagi para perantau yang baru saja pulang agar mengisolasi diri secara mandiri selama 14 hari kedepan. Serta, selama covid – 19 masih menjadi pandemi agar kiranya tidak mudik ke daerah masing – masing.
